What did the client need?
Our client required a comprehensive animation film to use during training sessions with pharmacists and doctors. The film should depict the pathophysiology of fungal nail infections, introduce the mode of action of their product, and highlight the importance of treatment duration in order to completely cure the infection. Although the topic is rather unpleasant, the film should have a positive tone to make it appropriate for our client’s broad range of OTC products. This also meant that the overall look of the film had to be in line with already existing product materials.
How did we meet this need?
In the beginning of the film, the goal is to establish the high incidence rate of fungal nail infections and to describe their pathophysiology, which often affects not only the nail but also the underlying tissue. The film then explains how our client’s product works and why a treatment duration of 6 weeks is required to prevent immediate reinfection of the nail. The 7.5-minute film consists mainly of 3D animations, supported by a few 2D graphics. It is set on a white to light blue background to lend the entire film an air of cleanliness and freshness.
