The term stereoscopy covers the processes of production and play-back of three-dimensional films, reproducing human spatial vision.
In order to imitate the natural spatial perception of two-dimensional pictures, two images of the same motif are taken from slightly different perspectives. Each of these – called half-fields – reproduces the point of view of one of our eyes and must therefore only be seen by the this eye. The brain then fuses the two perspectives to form a spatial image.
CAST PHARMA recommends the ColorCode technology. This technology can be employed with flexibility, there is no color distortion or any need for expensive additional equipment. A simple pair of cardboard spectacles enables spectacular 3d effects on any laptop, flatscreen or with projection.
