The 3D-animations show the structure of our digestive system, the path taken by laxatives of different pharmaceutical forms and modes of action, how and where they release their active substances and the reactions they trigger. We follow events in a combination of overall images of the digestive tract and macroviews.

This film is the first building block of an interactive animation project about structure and function of the digestive organs and the mode of action of medicines acting in them.
